Main Characteristics of Antistatic Ceramic
Tiles
I. Genuine antistatic ceramic tiles
The antistatic ceramic tiles are produced by mixing superfine semi-conducting
oxide powder into the ceramic glaze. It adopts the nanometer in-situ
formation technology, and forms a stable conducting network of solid
solution after high temperature sintering. The conducting network
exists in the glazed layer of glass phase, and its conductivity
is free of external influence, which keeps at 107
¦¸ and prevents static electricity
constantly. It is probably the only and genuine antistatic ceramic
tiles in China.
Some antistatic ceramic tiles adopt the principle by absorbing
environmental moisture to produce the effect of electric conduction,
and others are produced by painting a layer of antistatic agent
on the surface of common ceramic tiles. However, the antistatic
effect of such ceramic tiles is not stable and durable, thus they
are not genuine antistatic ceramic tiles.
II. Besides excellent antistatic performance, it also possesses
best quality among various building ceramic tiles.
The antistatic ceramic tiles are manufactured by adhering to the
highest quality requirement for ceramic tiles. Even among various
ceramic tiles, it also has the best quality.
The quality of ceramic tiles is usually better with lower water
absorption. The water absorption of antistatic ceramic tiles is
less than 0.5%, which is almost fully porcelainized. Therefore,
the product can resist dirt, cracking, freezing and aging with high
hardness.
The dimensional precision and smoothness demand of antistatic ceramic
tiles is higher than that of common ceramic tiles; therefore, it
can meet the application for high demanding floors.
III. High wearing resistance, skid-proof design and high walking
safety
The surface hardness of antistatic ceramic tiles reaches to rating
7, which is even higher than that of steel (rating 5). There are
only few minerals with higher surface hardness than it, such as
(rating 10), corundum (rating 9) and topaz (rating 8) etc.
Special wear-resisting particles are added into the glazed layer,
which not only resist wearing, but also prevent slipping, so as
to improve the walking safety in the workplace.
IV. Super stain resistance and corrosion resistance
The water absorption of body is less than 0.5£¥, which is almost
fully porcelainized. The glazed layer is of compact structure, and
its water absorption is almost 0£¥, therefore, it is very hard for
pollutants to penetrate into the body or glazed layer.
With super corrosion resistance, it is free of influence by strong
acid and alkali.
V. Low demanding for floor smoothness, convenient construction,
free of maintenance
Except for laying the grounded conducting network, the construction
of the product is similar to that of common ceramic tiles. There
is no need for regular maintenance, so it can save much trouble
for you. |
